BRAZILIAN WANDERING SPIDER

Hello wonderful people! J

In this new entry, I would like to write about this creature -------) Brazilian Wandering Spider

The Brazilian wandering spider that has strong and fast moving legs

Brazilian wandering spiders, also called armed spiders or banana spiders, belong to the genus Phoneutria, which means "murderess" in Greek. So, by knowing the meaning of his name, we can pretty sure guess why his animals have been talked as the most venomous spiders in the world. There are 8 species of Brazilian wandering spiders and all of them can be found in Brazil. But same species also can be found throughout Latin America, from Costa Rica to Argentina.

This creature usually is large with bodies about 2 inches and their leg spans can reach about 6 inches. Their bodies are covered with hair, have vary in colour which mostly brown and may have black spot on their bellies. Brazilian wandering spiders are fast-moving spiders, their legs are strong and spiny and they have distinctive red jaws which they display when angered.

The Brazilian Wandering spider got its name because it wanders on the jungle floor, rather than residing in a lair or maintaining a web. This is another reason why it is considered so dangerous. In densely populated areas, the Brazilian Wandering spider will usually search for cover and dark places to hide during daytime, leading it to hide within houses, clothes, cars, boots, boxes and log piles. This usually causes accidents when people disturb them.

This creature not just only has huge body but also contain poison. However, they actually preys on crickets, other large insects, small lizards and mice. Spiderlings of this species eat flightless fruit flies and pinhead crickets. They only release their poison to humans when they feel threatened or surprise.

The effect been bitten by the Brazilian wandering spider

Brazilian wandering spiders are certainly dangerous and bite more people than any other spiders. When feel threatened, this spider will immediately raise their first two legs. Their threatened stance serves as a warning, indicating to predators that the poisonous spider is ready to attack.

After been bite, the human will experience initial symptoms such as severe burning pain at the site of the bite, sweating and goose bumps. Within 30 minutes, symptoms become systemic and include high or low blood pressure, fast or a slow heartbeat, nausea, abdominal cramping, hypothermia, vertigo, blurred vision, convulsions and excessive sweating associated with shock. People who are bitten by a Brazilian wandering spider should seek medical attention immediately.

So, just take the precaution.. When you spot the dangerous one and the also have warn you not to approach them, just say goodbye and walk away! Don’t be to selfish and try to disturb them. They won’t like you. J So, just stay save.
